GIVEAWAY!! Three spots in my ecourse!!! Who wants one? ♥

Hello beautiful friends!!

I'm back from Bali where the lovely Louise Gale and I hosted two amazing groups of creative women for my Sacred Marks retreats.

I'm feeling rejuvenated and rearing to go as we continue to put together my very first ecourse and sooooo excited that more than 240 enthusiastic students have registered so far to find their mojo and make their mark!

NEWSFLASH!!

THREE ECOURSE SPOTS TO GIVE AWAY!!

I had really meant to do this earlier but you know, the best laid plans can go astray when you're busy having fu...um, working hard in tropical paradise!

because I've left it a little late I've also decided to extend the early bird price of $197 until midnight Sept 5th (pacific standard time)!!

Woohoo! That's also the day I will draw the names of the three winners :)

Here's how to enter ♥

Leave me a comment below telling me why you'd love to win.
Share this post on your FB page, blog, twitter, pinterest and any other place you feel compelled to.

Then tell me how many shares you made and each one will get you a chance to win!

Easy peasy right?

ps if you decide to register for the early bird price and then you win, I will refund your payment or you can gift it as a scholarship. I have several deserving people in mind ♥

I know you have all been curious about content so I wanted to share some snippets with you. We'll be looking at "tantalising textures", "inky explorations", "palettes of possibility" "pathways to abstraction" and "ban the background/bring on luscious layers" along with many other exciting techniques and processes!

We'll also be exploring ways to cultivate your own unique style, embrace happy accidents and say YES to a looser, happier, more creative YOU!

If you're sitting on the fence and unsure whether to join me in my first ever ecourse this might help you to decide :)

This morning I received an email from an FB friend wanting to join up but confused about my recent FB post with examples of the kinds of things we will be exploring; "are we doing portraits?" the emailer asked, " I love portraits. You didn't mention that in the class description."
Maybe you feel like my class descriptions have been a little ambiguous or unclear.
Let me try to explain why....
Firstly I KNOW that many of you are all ready to venture fearlessly (or anxiously) outside of your comfort zones. You may have already attended an in person workshop or read my book or follow this blog and I'm pretty sure I get that message across in each.
I know you are up for that kind of creative growth and that makes me uber excited!
This will NOT be a class about step by step instructions, about painting a painting like me or even about specific techniques (although I will share lots of those).

This WILL be a class about finding your voice, your style, your confidence. About exploring creative process and possibilities and finding new things, epiphanies from mistakes, happy accidents, making new connections and being open to new dreams.

Maybe you'll find a portrait from your palette or an elephant in your inky explorations, or maybe you'll find something you never even dreamed of.

I WILL challenge you to shift perspectives and the way I will be doing that is by inviting you into my own process as I do the same.

There will be two very different video deliveries each week.

One, a professionally filmed HD video that follows the progress of one of my large format paintings. This will be very much like attending a live two day workshop with me and I will talk you through the moves I make, the symbols I use, the colours I choose, the problems I encounter and how I solve them.

My intention is for you to paint a large painting alongside me and from the pics below from two of my in person workshops you can see that there will be many variations that will come from this process.

The OTHER weekly videos will be more intimate, less polished, just me (and you, and maybe a kitty or two) in my studio with my camcorder exploring ideas to share with you.

Here's the thing...
I LOVE to be in the same heart/mind space as my students. My workshops are never rehearsed or planned to the last detail. I am ALWAYS open to heading off in brand new directions and these videos will show that.
Although in each one I do start off with a general idea of the project that will go with the weekly theme I have not rehearsed or tested the project beforehand in any case.
This is so EXCITING as you will be right there with me as I make a new discovery OR change direction OR create a little side project from my leftover paint that will reappear in a later week. You will be right there as I make a mistake or LOVE what I am doing or decide I DON'T like what I am doing, or get a bit frustrated or stick my brush in my coffee (well I haven't done that yet but you never know, I'm still filming.)

In essence you will be there with me in my slightly messy, definitely not "styled" creative space and together we will move forward and get stuck and make messes and beauty all at the same time.
Along with the videos there will be PDF's and prompts and explanations and inspirations..lots and lots.
Does this all make sense??

Are you READY to let go of any preconceived notions and TRUST?
Are you with me?
Good luck everyone!! Winners announced on the morning of Sept 5th.
Hope to see you when the classroom doors open Sept 24th. Our FB community is already buzzing with excitement!

If you're ready to register and want to make sure you catch the early bird go here right now :)

lots of love Tracy♥

ps this giveaway is now closed. Congrats to the lucky winners Beth Weatherford, Suzanne Schroder and Michelle Reuss! You can still register for Paint Mojo the ecourse until end October! :)

I have just recently been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease that cause renal failure. I have been very blessed that this disease was discovered early and that I have a chance at partial to full recovery. It has made me so aware of how precious life is. My art and creativity play a large part in what makes my life valuable and worthwhile. I'm on some heavy duty medications right now that really sap my energy, but I want to dive into art and embrace it. I would so welcome the opportunity to win your giveaway ecourse spot. It sounds like just what I need right now.

Hi Tracy, I learned of you this year from my dear friend and creative cohort, Susan Miller -- since then I've gone back and read your blog to learn about your journey. Then I purchased your book and it has inspired me to create almost daily since I got it. I would be honored to take your online class and I'm anxiously awaiting the day when I can take one of your live workshops. I've shared the link to your post in these places:
1. My twitter feed -- @kialagivehand
2. The twitter feed for a website I run -- @how2artjournal
3. On the Facebook Page for howtoartjournal -- https://www.facebook.com/howtoartjournal
4. On the Facebook Page for my Creativity Coaching -- https://www.facebook.com/KialaGivehand/
5. On three other private Facebook groups I manage (one for journaling and one for art journaling, and one for the Mixed Media Inspiration Deck.)
6. I recommended it via Google+
And I think I'll just shout if from the rooftops later today :-).
Happy Sunday!!!

Hi Tracy! I love your work and your book. Just looking through the book makes me happy. Because I am new to mixed media in general, I don't even know what my personal Mojo is...lol. It just hasn't revealed itself to me yet. I am pretty much up for anything though and would love to win a spot in your new ecourse - and perhaps uncover my Mojo :) I know it's in here somewhere, if I could only find it. hehe

Hi... :)

Would Love to be a part of this class.. I preach to my friends all the time about having confidence.. and reading and watching videos.. and spreading the word about putting in the work so you can produce the images you have in your head. I also talk about not comparing your artwork to others.. and frankly.. I play the same speeches in my own head to myself. CONSTANTLY.. I lack confidence.. I care what others think about my work.. often more than I appreciate my own work.. I could sell an eskimo ice.. but as much as I love to play.. I can't convince myself.. I AM an ARTIST. and I ENJOY creating ART. I am self taught.. online tutorials inspire me.. empower me.. I need this.. I need to feel like I have the knowledge, background and ability to produce ART. I run at the thought of canvas. I shouldnt. I should be able to do it.. but I run! I NEED your course. thanks for reading

I am so stinking excited about this e-course, and I am KICKING MYSELF for not jumping at the opportunity to attend you workshop in WI last year (boo hoo!!!!) This is the next best thing though!!

I emerged myself in your book earlier this summer while on vacation and loved it so, so much. The way you weaved storytelling with art was so beautiful and it even left me teary eyed. It was truly fantastic!!

I shared your e-course FAQ page on my Facebook business page (Lulu Bea's) and also on my personal page. So exciting!!!!

I would love to win. I'm completing a degree in education, and the capstone process is sucking the life force out of me. The school doesn't really "get" my take on art as therapy, so it has been a constant struggle. I am in love with color and would love to learn anything I can that would help me along my journey. I would also love to do some of the coursework with my 4-year old ADHD grandson I care for... it would be a hoot! He loves to paint.

I'm hopeful that you will offer this course again. I'm going to start saving in case there is a future opportunity!

I would totally love to win a spot. I've had to lessen the amount of classes, monthly kits/clubs, due to a lay off that has turned more permanent than I thought it ever would. Having that pressure has made me be less adventurous with my art in someways, but has opened up a few things. I think taking your course (and the only way I'd be able to, would be to win a seat) would enhance what I know and learn some new things and grow and possibly find more of my own art style. I'd love to one day sell and live off of that alone, so maybe the universe is helping me in a strange way there.
I have shared on Pinterest, Twitter, Google+, and Facebook.

Where do I start?! I've been trying to find my creative voice for years now...I teach, and I make work, but I know that I'm holding back. So yes, I'd absolutely love to win this opportunity; I'm crossing everything for luck!

Loreena said...

Dear Tracy,

I know that dreams can come true, because I made them come true for my family, but what I can't figure out is how to really find enough belief in myself to follow a dream that is important solely to me.
You see, over a year ago my husband and I sold all we owned because we believed that travelling Australia with our children was the most exciting, soul inspiring, spiritually nurturing adventure we could undertake. It took so much courage and life change, and it's the best thing we ever did, and we are still travelling in our caravan, with a small amount of "stuff" and money but a huge amount of love.
When it comes to my husband and children, they are who I put first.
Our life changes don't leave me a lot of time or money to set my own soul alight and follow my own passions, I know my children are with me as small people for such a short time that I don't mind missing out on some things to honour them, as they fill me with everything I need and more.
But, and there's always a but. I want to create art, I want to paint, and I want to bring what's inside me to life, I just have no idea how to do it.
I would love, love, love a place in your class, so I can set my own fire alight, and burn it bright into the universe.
Thanks for the chance.
Loreena

I would love to win a spot in your eclass! I still so admire your art work and lesson teachings! I tried a few scarid prayers today. One while walking my dog, and the other while sitting here at my computer. I asked God to help me be a better person, to clean me of what is still filthy rags before HIM. Than I opened my bible and read in Leviticus about burnt offerings whi8ch was a coincidence to what you are doing. God had so many rules for the Jewish people to remain clean before Jesus came and died for our sins once and for all. Still I think the part about how a seed must dry up and die before it can be planted into the ground is still true. Which is why I can see this step as very important. About dieing to the self and being born anew, in what is sacred and pure! I want to shed my old self and be a better artist through this process, which is a huge reason I would love to win a spot! Hugs, Sanna
ps: loving your book by the way!

I would love to win a spot and dive into some MOJO. This has been the hardest year on a personal level. They say there are 5 major life events that are extremely hard. I've had 4 out of the 5 just this year. My art keeps me sane! Some MOJO would allow me to spend quality time with myself and through the journey I know it would feed my broken soul. I love life and everything it has to offer even the sad bad stuff. It would also give my art a boost! Hope to see my name in the winner's circle! Thanks for the generous chance. Sandy Fritz

I felt like I lost my voice, my power, feeling like I lost my self. Re-connecting to painting is how I feel balanced, it's my voice. Art is my medicine it nourishes me like no other. I want to be able to continue on my journey showing the world that 'Dreams Do come True'. Thank you Tracy, for your inspiration and sharing your gift to the world. xoxo Jen

AN artist myself, I feel like I've lost alittle touch with my own style in the last few months, and am looking to find that again. I love that you just trust the flow and let your work happen, rather than trying to force anything. I just moved at the end of August, and am working to rebuild at the moment. I've be honored to win a spot in your course! (I've also shared on Twitter, FB, and Pinterest. Do you need these links to verify?)

I have already signed up for Paint Mojo and am looking forward to starting a creative journey with you. If I win another place I would gift it to my beautiful sister-in-law who is the sister I never had. I gave her a box of Opulence Acrylics for her birthday and she would love to find her Paint Mojo

I couldn't wait for the book to released so when the opportunity afforded it's self I purchased my book for my iPad. I jumped right in and loved every bit of it....Tracy 's book was soul touching and raw. The story about the cow's (Moo) moved me to tears as I too had travelled that delicate path with my own two girls. The book is very inspiring and I would recommend it to ALL AGE GROUPS and have! So looking forward to the E Course, it's going to be like Christmas in September....:) P.S. I would love to offer my refund as a scholarship....

I would love to win a spot for your ecourse..to be honest, because im broke and cant afford the cost of it. But more importanly, because I love to paint, I have never taken a course before because I dont want my style to be compromised. I have followed your work for awhile, and feel that in your course, you wouldnt change my style you would enhance it. You come from a soul artist place rather than black and white. I love that! I would love to gain more MOJO in my paintings. And if not, thats ok too...Thank you for taking the time to read all our comments. Have a wonderfully colorful day!

I am loving my copy of PAINT MOJO, but would love to learn by "seeing". I'm a visual learner and think this would be a great way to really extend my painting techniques. Plus, I think it would be good to expose myself to some positive energy from Tracy. I really need that right now.

I shared this 3 times on Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook :-)

Hey Tracy
I am already joined in to do the e course . But to tell the truth a win right now would be a very happy accident
Either way I am looking froward to your new course . I already know I love it

Jessalee said...

Would love to take your ecourse. Full-time work-at-home mom of five, you know, that sort of thing where I don't always remember to take time to do something for myself. A class would be just the thing to help me take time for me, which simply hasn't happened in a really long time. The class would be just the thing I'd need to do, the commitment I'd need to make to myself to do just that. Of course, even if I don't win, I will take your class at some point! Your book is great, lovely, inspiring, and I can only imagine what it must be like to learn and grow in a different format beyond the beautiful book.

Thanks for the opportunity!

I would love to win this class! I have taken a few online courses and find that they work great anywhere you go. My daughter has a disease called crohns. We have been doing a lot of art in the hospital. It is the one thing that we can be really positive for both of us. <3 your style.

I have dreamed of painting for years (decades). I don't know how to start. My art studio is filled with canvas paintings done by other artists. I can't make myself pick up the brush because I don't want to look foolish. But, I dream of painting. Now in my 50's why would I worry about what anyone thinks? I have all the supplies, time, and beautiful art on my walls. I just have to start. Can you help me? Because, I dream of painting.

Would love to win a spot on your new ecourse. Woohoo! Just got your book last week.. Ordered it about 7 weeks ago. It was released on Friday here in the UK and Amazon gave me free Sunday delivery by courier! Loving it already.. Now I can totally see the vision of how your e-course can be adapted to one's personal style. Before seeing your book, I worried that your e-course would be too much of your style. I'm very happy to see that the ecourse will be adaptive to me so that I can represent my style! Loving it!

I'm so excited for this eclass! It's been soooooo long since I allowed myself to simply play with my art. I am a burned out illustrator, and this class is my way back to my creative energy. I feel it. If I happened to win my 'tuition' I would put that money towards an easle; so I can approach colour and mark making from a position that is not sitting and stagnant. Up and at it! So I shared on FB and Google+. (No blog for me yet)

Hi I would l8ve to be able to express in this form...I work with high school students and this form of art work would greatly enhance our journey together. It would be a great outlet for their emotional state and a safe way to express. Words can sometimes be tied into a mindset of trust. It would also benefit me with self care and well being as sometimes the world and stories at a high school can be self draining, I feel it would help me express what is hard to accept and both confidential....it can be a stuck place...this would help eliviat those feelings.
