The scoop on 2014!! AND my biggest giveaway ever!! ♥

My dear awesome, wonderful, talented, creative friends!

It's that time of the year again, a time for recaps and reflections....

a time to ponder the wonders of 2014 (and I hope you have had many)
and time for me to celebrate the gratitude I feel so deeply by holding a very special GIVEAWAY!
The biggest yet in fact!

So after you read all the way through, please leave me a comment as we see out the old year and prepare to bring in the new. I would LOVE to hear what you are dreaming into being in 2015!
P.S Please make sure you also leave your email contact so we can let you know if you've won!
*please feel free to tweet, pin, reblog, post anywhere and let me know how many shares cos thats how many chances you'll have to win! <3 p="">

TEN lucky winners will win either the original painting shown above OR one of three free spots in my upcoming Paint Mojo ecourse which opens for Earlybird registration on Jan 1st OR one of six hand painted postcards  to be sent from a mystery European destination during my travels next year!
*winners announced Dec 31st*

Did I mention I LOVE giving stuff away!! :)

I've been thinking about the whole WORD of the year thing and have decided that it doesn't really work for me.
I've never been that good at focusing on one thing for a long period of time so this year I want to move forward with several intentions rather than a word.

So here goes....

As I move into the New Year I intend

to work on balancing my body and mind, giving care and time to my physical needs and balancing out the disproportionate amount of time I spend "in my head".

to journey forth with a brave and open mind and to embrace more adventures even if they are momentarily scary.

to practice seeing myself as a strong and vibrant energetic force. I see this reflected back at me all the time from you beautiful people but mostly I have trouble believing it for myself.

I would love for you to share your intentions with me also.

I must confess.....
I don't quite know where to start with this years recap..
its been big, different, amazing, confronting, enlightening, funny, scary, wonderful and BUSY!

but a HUGE lesson I have learned in the past twelve months is that I don't have to do it ALL!!

This gorgeous woman saved my sanity by showing up two or three days a week, always bringing a sunshiny smile with her and taking over a whole bunch of stuff that was tying me to the computer. Thank you Kyla for being a multitasking queen and a wonderful friend! xo

Its also been a year of very big FIRSTS!

My FIRST book which sold out of its FIRST print run super quickly, and sat in the number one bestseller position in painting and mixed media for weeks!

Many of you sent me awesome pics as you received your books around the world and it made me feel sooooo good, like a little part of me was right there with you as you opened yourself up to more creative mojo in your lives.

It was also the year for my very FIRST Ecourse and oh man what a learning curve that was! Thank you to Kyla once again, Louise Gale, Luke Sheehan and my sweet Sienna for help with registrations, websites, filming and editing. I could NOT have done it all on my own!

The ecourse content unfolded organically and beautifully and the community of more than 400 eager students who joined the first session have made me feel like a proud mama as I have watched them blossom and shine. I adore in person teaching at my workshops and wondered how I could navigate a large ecourse group with the same kinds of hands on advice and care I give in "real" life but the feedback I have received makes me feel like I gave it my all and I cant wait for the second session to begin Feb 14th. Earlybird registration opens here in just nine days.

Would love for you to join me and I promise to ignite your mojo and spark your inspiration bigtime!

” You have such fresh ideas, content, and a great organized, yet spontaneous, teaching style. Truly an incredible class by which all others will be compared.” ~Sheila

(a little collage below of just a few of the hundreds, maybe thousands of amazing student images that came forth from Paint Mojo the ecourse~session one!)

"I wanted to find out if I could paint from my heart/my head, rather than paint what I physically see around me. This class is so chock full of different ideas that actually help to pull creativity out of your bones! Tracy is a loving, generous, kind and wise soul. She teaches and lives out of her heart, and is willing to share whatever she can to help a fellow 'creative' play with no judgement of ability or talent" D Weiland

In 2014 I also.....  did my fair share of waiting in airport gates

on my way to Paint Mojo workshops around Australia, meeting old friends and new
and staying a little closer to home this year while our baby girl Sienna wrapped up her senior year (with flying colors).

The one place I did visit outside of Australia marked another first with my FIRST longer all inclusive retreat in beautiful Bali! Oh my, I fell hard for this country...so languid, soulful, picturesque and welcoming.

How blessed I was to spend almost a month here, facilitating two 8 day retreats and enjoying every minute with two small intimate groups of sweet and talented women in the perfect setting at Sanur Beach Villas. Grateful also for the company of my dear friend Louise Gale who, as a guest teacher, shared her talent and knowledge with the students for our altered book project. I have already grabbed the dates at this fabulous venue for Sacred Marks Bali 2016 so make sure you let me know if you want me to keep you in the loop!

2014 also had its moments where our feet didn't feel so firmly planted on the ground!

I spent four days in hospital in early Feb after months of unsettling symptoms and came home with a diagnosis of Ulcerative colitis. I have since taken major corrective steps with my diet and although I am not symptom free yet I feel like I am on track.
Santana, around the same time, after months of nausea attacks and trialing every food under the sun to see what was causing it, finally had a definitive blood test result confirming severe coeliac. Needless to say her diet has changed radically as well.
The news didn't stop her and her gorgeous guy Jacob from heading off on a two months adventure shortly after and enjoying it all with gusto and romance

Not to be outdone mi amor went and almost lost a finger while kite surfing and had to undergo extensive microsurgery to try to save it. Several months and surgeries later it is almost as good as new and he is back out in the water....

and I get to listen to him strum his guitar each night as I cook dinner :)

All in all I am blessed.....learning to take more time to chillax and  smell the roses with reminders from Bella and Luna....

Learning to let go of the thoughts, habits, actions that no longer serve me and focus on what makes me feel joy....

learning to move forward towards my year of turning fifty with a greater feeling of self love and acceptance...
Even my work feels like it is collaborating with me to tune me into a quieter more introspective place of creating, and it feels GOOD....

I am grateful for so much, deepening friendships

magic forays into new lands and wise words from ancient poets to guide me...

an ever widening lens of wonder with which to view an ever expanding and enchanting world...

and a growing sense of knowing that indeed there is something bigger than we know going on here, that we should all remain open and that the journey ahead can be a magical one.

Much love to you all, many blessings for the holidays, whichever, wherever you celebrate, may you celebrate with love and compassion and move into the New Year aligned with all good things to come your way.

Good luck in my giveaway!
Please don't forget to leave a comment!
lots of love

I love your work. I'm an art teacher and I showed your work along with the promo for your e-course to my AP art students when we started a unit on abstract art. They were very inspired. I would love to win one of the spots in your e-course. Thanks for being so generous.

LOL, well, the Universe has decided that if I really want this, I will work for it! This will be the third attempt to post. Once again, I offer sincere apologies if my other attempts to post show up.
I read Elizabeth Gilbert's book a long time ago, but just recently found her FB site and loved it, but through her site I found you! Every nerve in my body reacted! I've done my share of art, but lately I've been struggling to create, and at age 60 I have been on a path to find myself. Your site an answer to my request to the Universe for some help. What sweet synchronicity this is! I would love to win a spot (finances have been tight this year) but no matter what, I am taking this course! Namaste! and thank you to the Universe for placing you on my path.

What a year for you Tracy.
And a lot more to come.
My thoughts for the coming year are probably much like yours. Putting it into one word is difficult. I do hope to THRIVE in the com in year. Thrive on life, art, adventures, love and everything that this world has to offer.
I definitely need to learn to be more confident and find an inner balance. But that is true of everything . Time with my family, my art, exercise, getting out into nature, and my TIME. Being more organised without being pedantic about it is also a goal.
Anyway. That is my plan for next year.
I would LOVE to join you in your class next year. I know most of my friends have had theta joy. So I'd love to enter your competition as well. I have shared your link to Twitter, my Facebook page, my Facebook group,Art-stralia. So I'm keeping my fingers x-d. my email is : sinika@optusnet.com.au
Wishing everyone good luck and thank you for sharing your year. See you ned year Tracy.

Your work gets more and more and more beautiful. I can feel your warmth, sensitivity and gentleness both in your artwork and in every word you write. This has made me want to take your class. It's a way to get to know you, the person as well as the artist. I know they are somewhat the same - a part of the whole.
My 2015 will be centered around centering and focus. Letting go of the intense need for perfection and productivity. It will be decision time as well-I find myself smack in the middle of two careers I love. I'm trying to find a way to make them both work. You keep it real when you talk about writing and designing a class, a book, teaching all over and being a mom, friend, wife and an inspiration. I'm focusing, centering and letting go of what doesn't work in 2015. I would love to have the opportunity to "win" a place in your next eclass. Thank you!!!

Plus!! All the love and shout outs from Elizabeth Gilbert??!! And I am still waiting for your book to be restocked at Amazon!! Big love to you for intentions!! I am choosing a word which will shape my intentions as I work with it and that word is: STORY!!! I chose it because I have only recently seen that my story is uniquely mine and that the people in the early years of my story will be lost if I do not record their stories somehow. No matter how I love my children, they are now adults in midlife, my children no longer. So, STORY!! :-D

Thank you for your inspiration and sharing your year with us (lol - I may not be able to resist the urge to add exclamation marks everywhere, lol)!
For 2105 my intention is to expand my spiritual practice and connect more and more to my inner voice/source and appreciate me for me.
Using that as a basis, delve deeper into creativity - allowing my self-expression to emerge and grow; grow my/our businesses beyond what I/we can even imagine is possible, connect with friends and family on a deeper level, release things I don't need and create flow and ease in all areas of life - every day. More travel and, if we move, do that with flow, ease and grace!

Dear Tracy: I decided to start painting about 6 weeks ago- what inspired me was speaking to a lovely lady who started her painting journey 4 years ago - I realized at that moment that paining would satisfy my thirst for creativity and feed my love of color (I have engaged in other creative endevours in the past) but somehow I thought doing art and painitng required skills that I didnt have :( - I now now thats not true and I paln to spend 2015 painting with my soul and heart = wide open and in joy- PS - I love your work. I have loved reading about your year Tracy, it has been a big one for you. I hope to bring into being in the new year a returned mojo and inspiration and the strength to keep going on with my art journey. Art is my sanity and therapy and happy place and as I face yet another health obstacle with yet another diagnosis I am trying to keep focused on what can heal me the most, which is art. Thank you for your art and inspiration, happy new year xxxxx leslielc@iprimus.com.au

What a beautiful bright light you are!! For 2015 I did choose a word based on what all my intentions had in common, "Free". From moving free, to free thinking, to being more of a free spirit. It's going to be a beautifully blessed 2015 and I'm ready to fly freely!

Hi Tracey, I've only paint on this creative path for about a year and I have found you quite inspirational of course. I desperately wanted to take your course on the beach in St.Pete/Tampa FL but the "boss" in my house who makes the $ would not ok it so I must stick to the internet and your book for my dose of inspiration. Everything you do is pure magic and comes right from your heart and soul. I'm trying to find my way as an artist and want to try every single new technique/process I hear of. I'm hoping to settle somewhat this year and find what works for me. Thanks for offering your giveaway, I would love to try your ecourse or of course have something lovely that you have painted yourself! I'm hoping to make some major changes this year to things have been holding me back in my art and also in life. Scary big life changes. Art will help me deal with all of this. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for this chance!

So glad to have discovered you this year. Love following your art on Instagram and love your book (which I need to get back to, have got distracted!). I so look forward to 2015, I feel like it's going to be a great year, which is awesome because I don't think I've ever felt this positive about a new year.

Hi Tracy, I just love the way you so generously share your family your feelings and your life with and of course, your art. You communicate in such a way that I sometimes feel you are talking to me as a friend. (I know that sounds a bit creepy, but I hope you know what I was getting at). I am so happy that you had such a great 2014. For me unfortuately health issues got in the way and caused me to stop work, but it didn't stop me from participating in your e-course (even though I am a lot slower than most). By watching and listening to you and readng whatever your write, you have truly given me a more positive, energized outlook for 2015. If I should be lucky enough to win your floral still life, I would proudly hang it in my bedroom, so it would be the first thing I see when I wake up and remind me of that. Sorry I've rambled on a bit. Anyway I wish you very Happy New Year to you and your family. I'm off outside now, I can hear firework being left off early. Thank you so much. xx

My goal for 2015 is to let go. I want to be grateful for what I have, and give from the heart.
We lost our sweet 22 month old granddaughter Paige to a very aggressive form of cancer. in 2012. Nothing is more important than finding a cure for childhood cancers.
By learning how to free my soul through painting I hope to be able to express my love for my family and friends.
