22 days of gratitude and giveaways- day six and seven

Keeping it very simple today my sweets.
Woke up with a bit of a wobbly tummy this morning so I'm grateful it seems to be passing and not getting worse.
We spent the afternoon driving from the coast to Revel, just outside of Durfort, the tiny village I will be teaching in for the next week.
Currently I am lying with mi amor on the banks of the lac du St Ferriere after a little dip to take the edge of the 38 deg C heat.
Here is my current view, looking up...

Looking forward.....

                   And Looking down
No bells and whistles today, grateful for it all, even the bit where the sat nav stopped talking and I failed in my job as auxiliary navigator and we had to drive an extra 46 kms to the next off ramp, and i tried to get the stupid Tom Tom to work and it kept overheating (and so did I) until I wanted to throw it out the window!

Grateful even for that coz it makes me recognize how much sweeter moments like this really are.

TWO WINNERS TODAY TO MAKE UP FOR MY SUNDAY OFF......

CONGRATULATIONS TO......

Attila Nagy
And
Wanda Milller!

Keep sending me your thoughts of gratitude and I'll keep drawing winners for spots in the next session of Paint Mojo the ecourse all the way up to my birthday July 22nd

And remember....

Lots of love
Tracy ❤️️

Today as I walked down the stairs of my appartment building I waited as the lady who lives beside me was wheeled down the stairs. She can't talk, she can't move, but she gave me the most beautiful smile and I felt tears in my eyes, and I thought, look at her, what an example, I complain about the heat, she's in this state and she's smiling! So today I'm grateful for being able to talk, being able to walk, being able to do all those things she can't do.. And I am humbled..

I am so grateful for the universe providing me with an opportunity for creating some wonderful memories with a special person. I did not want my last memories with this person to be painful. Now that peace and love is acquired it feels balanced. It does not matter now if I ever get to meet the person again because my last memories of this lovely human is that of peace. So yes thank you universe for this lovely gift. Sometimes it sucks to have said some things in bitter anger. But to get an opportunity to change hurt to peace and love is truly a gift of healing.

This morning, after the evening memorial service for a dear friend, my DH and I drove through 7 states and one district to get home. I'm clicking my ruby red heals and grateful to be home. We started in Greenwich CT, then NY, NJ, PA, DL, MD, District of Columbia and finally VA all in 4 hours and 20 minutes, all on Interstate 95...... not as bad as we anticipated! Thanks angels.....

I'm grateful for my daughter who despite her challenge of living with deaf autism reminds me each day for the little things and steps forward. Im grateful for her infectious spirit of love, sunshine and possibilities. Im grateful for my art as an avenue to bring me an emotional comforting stress release for the days that are not so sunny.

So today I am thankful for the beautiful barred owl feather and another tiny feather that my husband and I found. Seems like some sort of auspicious sign.

Today I am grateful for the summer breeze, light rain that whispered through the garden and washed away the dust. The mountains that the sun peeked out around and a day that was without worry!

am grateful for my mother. She died last november, much too soon, from a tragic accident.. I miss her so much. But I am also so much like her, im grateful for all that she has taught me and the creative and dreamy person I became because of her. Grateful for the moments we hold eachothers hands and said nothing, because all we had to say was in our hearts. Grateful for the moments we danced togheter in the livingroom, trying out our craziest moves, but always ending up with her arms around me and my head on her chest, even till I was 25. My mom was my biggest friend and my biggest love. I hope I will see her again in valhalla, until then her soul is in every piece of art I create ♡

I just wanted to thank you again Tracy. Not only for the spots youre giving away but how you do it. Ive never realised there are so many beautiful things in my life. I do now :)

Grateful for my garden and vegies that I could grow and make delicious lunches for my peps. There is nothing better than fresh vegies. I did enjoy in preparing the meal, like I did put my mojo in it. Fun.
