I am grateful for pyjama's on a lazy Sunday morning. I am grateful when we are in our pyjama's for ages, cuddling, drinking tea, and drink even more tea. We even have a name for it and for my girls it's an absolute indulgence: today it is Pyjama-Day!

What a wonderful blessing to have your family together, in Spain, to celebrate with you. Tracy, you're gonna sparkle even brighter at fifty, my friend!! Take care xo
Grateful for fireflies!
This is turning into a summer of tests. I am grateful that when my husband had a spontaneous tear in his retina & hemmoraging, he got immediate medical care & cryo eye surgery to save him from losing vision in his eye permanently. It was an awful surgery, but I held his hand & he was a trooper.

I hope you are feeling better. It's hard to be on the road when you're not feeling well.

My honey and I are big "bird nerds"...several years ago we expressed the goal of providing a "peep haven". Seems all we did was have the intention and so many different birds started showing-up...perhaps they heard the invitation. I am grateful for the daily close-up interaction I get to have with our feathered friends: from the morning greetings from our resident ravens, to the daily hawk swoop, to the singing goldfinches, to the "in-your-face" hovering humming birds, even the super bold thrasher who is excavating our cobble stone walk: I love them all. Thanks again Tracy for your sharing & generous contest which prompts us to reflect on gratitude...hoping to join your online class (which begins on my birthday). Blessings

So much goodness happening! Thank you for giving away spaces in your class!

I'm so grateful for my loving parents who have both passed just in the last 6 months, first Mom who had alzheimers for 18 years, then 6 months later, Dad. Our family knows he wanted to go dancing with her heaven! Married happily for 67 years, after knowing each other for just 2 weeks during WWII. They were the most loving parents anyone could ask for...and how grateful I am for being able to call them 'Mom and Dad'...I miss them so.

I am so thankful that I live in a country where I feel safe and at a time where women really count. So many times I take things as given, but in another place or in another era I might have been/be stoned to death for saying what I think or burned to death as a witch. It sounds crazy today and here in this place, but even in today's times where there is still injustice and the world is in turmoil - I am, we are, very fortunate. Not so long ago(and in some places still), women were nothing. Even doing art was just for the privileged few and that not taken seriously but just to amuse family and friends. I am feeling very blessed and I am thankful for your motivating me to take time and consider what I am grateful for. Thank you.

I'm thankful EVERY day for my husband and family. We celebrated our 40th anniversary with a stay in a beach house (arranged by and with our adult children & grandchild) We've been asked many times what our secret is. It's finding something to laugh about every day, searching for the good moments, even in hard times, and loving unconditionally. Life has been hard sometimes but they are my soft place to fall.

Today I am grateful for the Sacred Datura (of the eternal essence of God) plant that voluntarily came to my front yard to grow. This morning I awoke to see at least 50 flowers blooming and the bees all hungrily getting nectar deep in the blossoms. They bloom at night and are gone before noon. For those who have never seen one, the blossoms are white, tinged with purple, about 6" wide and 8" deep, and they have a wonderful, delicate fragrance. The Datura are used in Native American rituals, but they are toxic and so must be administered by shamans who know what they are doing. I just enjoy their beauty and their continuing gift of flowers and fragrance.

This morning I'm grateful for...

- the winds that have cooled the house, the fabulous sunsets we've been having, the summer colours everywhere, the sky and all the amazing clouds,

- having such good friends, great conversations and so much love around me even when I can't see it,

- all the programs I've participated in that had me grow and develop,

- all the creative people in the world who are innovating and making our planet better, who are looking at ways to enhance our resources and cause a shift on the planet,

- the fact that we have technology and can connect with people all over the world at anytime!

Thanks again for creating this. I haven't been able to participate every day however, doing this has made a real difference for me and I'm adding to my daily practice (lol, almost daily ;-) )

I'm grateful SO for my dearest friends! How lucky I am to have been blessed with two girlfriends that have been my BFFs (as the 'kids' say) for over 50 years. I met them both in grade school and we treasure each other every day. Each year, we meet in LV and share, play, lay by the pool, see great shows, good restaurants...and appreciate our 3 glorious days together!

I am on a Gypsy Journey (age 61) across the States in my Honda Civic, packed with only what is necessary for essential living. I have no permanent address anymore. Sold/gave away all the things that root a person to a particular place. I am not homeless - I am grateful to be home free - to explore, experience, discover that no matter where you roam, your heart can feel at home.
I am grateful for my life, the flowers in my garden,my family!

My Reflection of Gratitude to follow dreams...lost and found. With unending support, encouragement, I have wings keeping me aflutter; sometimes they are not my own. Often they are from the one I love; and often from the one who gave me flight. I am grateful for their vision when sometimes mine is clouded. Why do I so easily fight it when I know what I am heading out to do? Am I fearful of making it? Am I fearful of reaching the dream and the journey ending? No...that I know is not the reason, for my dreams have no end, my spirit has no boundaries, their support has not limit.
*** excerpt from my blog tonight... www.rachelleeason.com/blog ...inspired by your FB posting about Dreama. Thank you, Tracy!
