On Saturday mi amor walks by me as I sit at my usual spot in front of the computer,  working on a hundred things at once,  and says........ "No work tomorrow ok? Lets go for a picnic somewhere.   I cant believe you've never been to Steamers Beach...." a slight sense of anxiety passes over me....I have become accustomed to filling my days with work,  grateful that I have the luxury of doing the things I love and calling it work,  frenetic about all the possibilities and all I want to put out into the world.....  I have forgotten what it is to actually take a whole day off and then.... a sense of relief washes over me..... Yes, I say. That would be wonderful! 8 kms later.... a day of breathing in the beauty,  the simplest of picnics on the most gorgeous of beaches....  and I am feeling totally replenished. I want every Sunday to be a new adventure! Hold me to it ok? Forget not that the earth delights to ...

   I need the sea because it teaches me.      I don't know if I learn music or awareness,    if it's a single wave or its vast existence,        or only its harsh voice or its shining one,       a suggestion of fishes and ships.       The fact is that until I fall asleep,        in some magnetic way I move in            the university of the waves.      Pablo Neruda  i grew up by the beach  have lived by it all my life...  childhood memories of walking the rocky cliffs around Bondi with my grandmother are some of my best memories....  so much life, so many organic patterns and textures to be inspired by....  so much history recorded here, a mystery to me....these formations.....  but captivating nonetheless.....  time creates beautiful patterns ...

May it be a year of wonder and possibility for you, Much laughter and love and an abundance of serendipitous moments, lush happenings and peace in each present moment :)   My word for 2013 is CLARITY I know that many of you can relate..... as creative souls with a multitude of ideas all shooting off in different directions at once a tendency to work on many things at the same time and then to succumb to moments of overwhelm when it ALL.GETS.TOO.MUCH. I know I'm not alone in this! So CLARITY it is for me this means working on  simplifying my world, decluttering organising setting up systems to make things flow more easily and so it is.....   We started the year with some reassessing of things.  a realization that for many reasons music would take a backseat for a while.
