22 days of gratitude and giveaways- day six and seven

Keeping it very simple today my sweets.
Woke up with a bit of a wobbly tummy this morning so I'm grateful it seems to be passing and not getting worse.
We spent the afternoon driving from the coast to Revel, just outside of Durfort, the tiny village I will be teaching in for the next week.
Currently I am lying with mi amor on the banks of the lac du St Ferriere after a little dip to take the edge of the 38 deg C heat.
Here is my current view, looking up...

Looking forward.....

                   And Looking down
No bells and whistles today, grateful for it all, even the bit where the sat nav stopped talking and I failed in my job as auxiliary navigator and we had to drive an extra 46 kms to the next off ramp, and i tried to get the stupid Tom Tom to work and it kept overheating (and so did I) until I wanted to throw it out the window!

Grateful even for that coz it makes me recognize how much sweeter moments like this really are.

TWO WINNERS TODAY TO MAKE UP FOR MY SUNDAY OFF......

CONGRATULATIONS TO......

Attila Nagy
And
Wanda Milller!

Keep sending me your thoughts of gratitude and I'll keep drawing winners for spots in the next session of Paint Mojo the ecourse all the way up to my birthday July 22nd

And remember....

Lots of love
Tracy ❤️️

Hi Tracey,

I have been following you on FB for a while now after being introduced to your beautiful art via Elizabeth Gilbert. I'm following your travels around Europe and was so excited to see that you visited North Wales which Is about an hour from me.

I live in Liverpool and I'd have loved it if you'd have visited the City, it's on the Northwest coast and was known as the 'gateway to the world', it's waterfront is a Unesco heritage site and we have a real eclectic mix of people including the oldest Chinese community in Europe and one of the oldest Jamaican communities in Europe - I'd have loved you to have experienced it's vibrancy. Carl Jung called it 'The pool of Life'. But then I think everywhere has it's beauty and vibrancy, you just have to look. Which is why following your travels is so interesting to me.

I'm an artist and writer myself coming out of the corporate closet and taking my first tentative steps back into the world of creativity. Your blog and art is an inspiration and a guide to me.

Thank you so much for sharing your beauty with the world.

Lots of love, Maria xx

Hi Tracey
I am grateful for each morning I wake up and take my first breath. Two years ago we nearly lost my husband and father to our two beautiful children to a virus which affected his heart. Through our difficult times we practise more gratitude daily especially for the simple things in life . Our health is on top of the list each day, having each other to love and support and just the little things we take for granted, nature and walking and having some time to be creative. And grateful I found you a while ago and praying to do your class one day soon ✨💕✨💕 Meri

To-day I am feeling so grateful to still have my mother with us. She turns 90 in September and has just soldiered her way through two hip operations in the past twelve months. Is totally "with it" and handles technology in her stride. Leaves a better message on my answering machine than any of my younger friends.
Kind Regards..Judith from Australia

Today I'm sooo thankful to be here for these three days in the Austrian Alps. We went hiking up to a mountain farm through a forest trail, it rained off and on but only lightly and the air was so fresh and smelled like fresh pine wood it was amazing. Once we got up to the farm hut it started storming so we made it just in time,an oh I'm grateful we were nice and warm and cozy in there eating soup and drinking freshly brewed coffee while the storm passed. I'm thankful we were'nt caught out in that, lol! Tomorrow the weather should be better and we'll hike higher up to a mountain hut at 2,200m where the view is amazing.

Today I am grateful to face my fear of teaching my own e-course on alcohol inks. I am grateful for what gnaws at me, for the ability to pay attention, to honor the anxiety and then push it the heck out of the way and dive in anyway. I've heard so much for my friends Pauline Agnew and Linda Chaves and have just watch all of your experience such moments of unbridled gratitude in France. And, yes...everything I've ever wanted is on the other side of ear - that's for sure! 60 years old and just beginning....it feels like that anyway.

Your book was one of the 2 books that made me start my first canvas painting. The other one was flora bowley. Love both of you and it just gave me the inspiration and the push to paint on a canvas and not only in my journal.

Hi Tracy, I am grateful for the community of women I have met while taking a few art e-courses over the past year. Being in a harmonious space with like-minded women working together on similar goals trying to reach our authentic inner artistic self, is such a beautiful thing. There is no competition or judgement, only encouragement, sharing, teaching and supporting. I am humbled by this sisterhood of creative hearts and minds.

Filled with Gratitude,

Hi Tracy, Today I am so incredibly grateful for being able to venture outside, albeit with much anxiety and trepidation, on a beautiful sunny day, after 6 months of agoraphobia. Witnessing all the suffering that goes on in the world I have a very hard time commenting on your posts. Because all the things I have to be grateful for are a luxury to those who simply try to stay alive or try to keep their family safe. Every time I reply to your post I do it with a heavy hard. So instead of saying I am grateful for.. Today I want to send this all over the world: May you be happy, May you be healthy, May you live in peace, May you be free from suffering...

Ohhh today i am grateful!! Grateful to have seen such beauty, to be a part of this beautiful world we live in! The weather held out today so we climbed up to 2,300m, the path was steep and quite the test of strength but oh the beauty of the mountains, makes you feel at such peace with yourself and you can just leave all your worries behind. There were the most beautiful flowers and wild strawberries which tasted delicious and although my feet and legs are aching from the climb I am thankful thankful thankful! I am blessed to have seen such beauty and for one day felt like I was on top of the world where my imagination can soar! I can't wait to channel all I've seen in my painting ad really hope to win a spot in your course which would help me paint out all I have inside so others can share the beauty I've seen. :)
