Snippets from the road AND super exciting news!!!!

Hello dear friends!!!!

I know, I know I have been missing in action big time!

Roaming around the U.S, painting rainbows of possibility with awesome creative people
making new friends and hanging out with old ones,
seeing new places and relishing the whole incredible experience!!!

One of the reasons I haven't had time to blog is that every.spare. moment has been taken up with finishing my book.

My sweet friend and editor Tonia sent me the cover a couple of weeks ago with instructions not to share so I have been buzzing with excitement!!!

Then on Sunday morning I log on to Facebook and see my cover staring me in the face on someones post....confused for a moment I wondered if I had somehow accidentally shared...sleep typing maybe??

Then I read further...Tracy Verdugos new book is now available for pre order on Amazon!!

Whaaaaaaat??

OMG!! OMG!! Its real!! A real book!! Not just a bunch of scrawled notes in my falling apart notebook!!
Not just a folder of beautiful contributions from awesome artists sitting on my desktop.
Not just a bunch of higgledy piggledy thoughts in my head trying to make sense!

A real life book!!!

Isn't it pretty?? :))

You can even go to Amazon right now and preorder but you'll have to be patient as the actual book doesn't come out until next July.

I dont know if you can tell but I'm a little bit EXCITED!!!!!!!!

Ok so just had to get that out...just three weeks left on my wonderful adventure and then I will be home, sweet, home with my very much missed family and ready for Summer and two whole months off to cocoon myself in my purple studio and paint to my hearts delight.

Here are just a few snippets( will be back with more soon) from the road so far. I'm in Miami right now visiting with my gorgeous Aunt Robbie (sister to my newly found biological father) and family who I met for the very first time this time last year at Thanksgiving and who has since visited us all in Australia.

Life is good and I am grateful for every moment.

catching up with friends of the heart in California....many, many years of love with these beauties.

Marco and Sienna came to visit while I was in California and we got to explore...

we visited family in Tijuana

and spent some time hanging in the garden at abuelitas house.
Even though she is gone her spirit there is still strong...

I fell in love with Albuquerque

 and Santa Fe...

Stayed with Annie and Ed in their home filled with love...

and had lots of fun hanging out with Annie and Jane for a few days :)

along the way I am blessed to be able to guide students to paint what is in their heart

 I've roamed new neighbourhoods

taken photos of scenes so breathtaking I want to paint them when I get home

and made many new furry friends too

In Wisconsin a magical fairy came to my workshop!

so many memories and wonderful shared moments along the way...too many for one post.
Will be back soon with more!

Hope everyone is feeling the wonder today!

lots of love Tracy xoxox

Congratulations Tracy.

So happy for you and a big thank you to Tonia as well!

I rarely purchase books from Amazon without getting a sneak peak. This time I had no reservations what so ever and purchased it right away.

xoxo, Grace

Lovin' the book cover!!! Can't wait to have it my hands.

I don't visit regularly (wish I did). Always enjoy seeing what you're up to and oh, so, disappointed that you were in Santa Fe (WHERE I LIVE NEARBY). Were you offering workshops? Come back to the southwest!!!! It is a magical place, isn't it.

Peace,
Kay

Tracy I did the first workshop with you and Flora Bowley in 2011. I love stopping by your blog every once in a while and seeing all the beautiful, vibrant life you breath into the world! I still do bits of painting here and there and think about what Flora taught us.
