Coming home~ sweet ,sweet home ♥

There is nothing like coming home after you have been away for a while.

In this case, for me, 9 weeks from September to November crisscrossing the US and spreading the Mojo from Albuquerque to Austin, Petaluma to St Pete.

The most, amazing adventure and sooooooo many beautiful memories made along the way which I will share with you, sweet friends, in the coming weeks as I recap 2013 ♥

of course the best and most important part of a home is the people who live in it, who I adore and miss

every second I am away......finding out Miss Sixteen has her first boyfriend while I was in Austin, Texas was almost like missing her first step....

and of course it goes without saying that our furry and finned family members are also very much missed....thankfully they have each other while I am gone :)

Luna loves those fish with a passion!

and of course, so does Bella!

When I think about this little house we bought almost 17 years ago, the changes we have seen and the miracles mi amor has performed to create a true work of art, with small budget and much imagination

our casa de love ♥

I realise just how much a home is a container for memories

we create....

and collect....

Winter sunrises as we make the morning coffee

Sundrenched Summer afternoons on the back deck

feathered friends who come to visit!

I leave you with some snippets of our home sweet home, a beautiful poem by Hafiz, and a wish for your own home to be filled with love, health and joy over the festive season.

Will check back in next week with a post encompassing all of my adventures from 2013!

Oh boy THAT is going to take some time!

much love Tracy xox ♥

PS very excited that my book Paint Mojo has been sitting at # 3 on the most wished for list in painting for weeks now. It is now available for preorder on Amazon, Book Depository and Fishpond
It will be released and available in book stores next July! How exciting is that? :)

“Where we love is home,
Home that the feet may leave,
but not our hearts.”
― Oliver Wendell Holmes

“Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home.”
― Matsuo Bashō

All the Hemispheres
Hafiz

Leave the familiar for a while.
Let your senses and bodies stretch out

Like a welcomed season
Onto the meadow and shores and hills.

Open up to the Roof.
Make a new watermark on your excitement
And love.

Like a blooming night flower,
Bestow your vital fragrance of happiness
And giving
Upon our intimate assembly.

Change rooms in your mind for a day.

All the hemispheres in existence
Lie beside an equator
In your heart.

Greet Yourself
In your thousand other forms
As you mount the hidden tide and travel
Back home.

All the hemispheres in heaven
Are sitting around a fire
Chatting

While stitching themselves together
Into the Great Circle inside of
You.

I am going to have to ponder a moment what I love best about tho post. The colours and back deck of your home or Luna with her head in the fish bowl!!

Both shall sustain me through the day!
