Wow! What a wonderful weekend with 15 creative seekers on a gorgeous property in beautiful Papamoa NZ!! Thank you so much to all of you for being brave, breaking outside of your boundaries and trusting in my guidance. You are all amazing! A huge thanks to the gorgeous Jenny Grant(with her beautiful painting below)for organising this workshop and for hosting me in your home. It felt like family :)  and also to the incredibly gracious Allison for sharing her home and studio (and wine) with us over the weekend! I have to say I LOVE steering you through the tricky bits and then.....  seeing your faces light up when you get to a new place!  The diversity of art at the end of the weekend took my breath away.....  as did the beauty of the landscape I was lucky enough to experience....  through the window of my shuttle bus  when my flight from Tauranga to Auckland was cancelled....  I even spied a hobbit house...

Just jumped into bed, read Meya (my hosts sweet daughter) a book and was ready to turn the light off after a big day of teaching, when I remembered!! a 30 day commitment to daily blogging!!! Forgive me..I'm exhausted! So I offer  a pictorial of a wonderful day....  can you beat being greeted by your host family with an early morning smile like this?  and then an awesome studio space to explore....  and play....   capturing snippets of the day....  from all the works in progress  so much play and exploration!  then back to finish off the evening with a fire, wine and some beautiful NZ lamb prepared by Simon and of course A gummy bear, toasted marshmallow courtesy of Lucas to top off the evening! :) sweet dreams..hasta luego!!

I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.  e.e.cummings and for a beautiful walk along the beach today in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand......  and for a lovely dinner with Jenny, Simon, Meya, Lucas and Max....       and tomorrow we are all set up in this beautiful Papamoa studio    for Paint Mojo New Zealand!! Cannot wait!! :)) Po Marie!! (goodnight in Maori)

  Hello beautiful friends Just a very quick check in today to let you know I'm tucked in bed here in Tauranga, New Zealand after a very long day of travel, a couple of glasses of wine, some delicious cheese and a great conversation with my very sweet hosts Jenny and Simon! Looking forward to a walk along the beach in the Bay of Plenty tomorrow! Started the day off very early leaving home at 5.45 am in order to get to Sydney airport by 9am. Stopped along the way in Gerringong to greet the sun. Such a beautiful place we live in! Very much looking forward to a weekend of Paint Mojo on New Zealand shores :) Sweet dreams!!  xoxox
