Good morning gorgeous people around the planet! Isn't it amazing that we can connect this way as we sit by our computers, all of us spread across this little ball of rock and water, spinning through space in an infinite Universe? Stuff like that makes me feel kind of overwhelmed sometimes You know.... The BIGNESS of it all but also The WONDER of it all .... and this has been a wondrous year indeed in fact, so wondrous that the very telling of it has me feeling overwhelmed so this morning, when I woke, I thought to myself rather than avoid your blog again today why dont you just share a few little snippets from the past week or so and then maybe tomorrows wrap up of the year wont seem so daunting So here we go......  I've been spending more time in my studio and actually have it fairly organised and clean in anticipation of the arrival of my beautiful friend Orly Avineri in a couple of weeks.  Good morning beautiful friends and fellow creative seekers! Thank you to all of those who followed faithfully along during my thirty days of blog lovin' in May. I am sure I have mentioned to you before that consistency is definitely NOT my middle name so it should come as no surprise that I went from blogging every day in a month to not blogging at all the entire month of June! Don't be fooled into thinking that this means nothing has been happening in my world though.... its full steam ahead here as usual and I promise I will fill you in on a wonderful month over the coming weeks. Here are a few of the highlights of the month~   12 days in the beautiful Mornington peninsula, Victoria teaching two Paint Mojo workshops and staying with the beautiful Baker family ♥ Thank you Liza, Michael, Tully and Flynn~ I feel like I have gained even more new family :)  Students creating "feeling" paintings in response to a poem.  My demo in progress.....

One of the things I LOVE the most about the information age is the speed of connectivity..... how like minded friends find each other in online communities and how friendships are then forged through deeper connection..... how the world becomes a much smaller place where ideas spread quickly and BIG plans are made and because of this very phenomenon through a few excitable email interactions an idea was hatched and brought into reality!!  18th and 19th January 2014 Orly Avineri at our home, Casa Cantamar Huskisson NSW Australia!!  Orly is one of the most insightful, soulful, creative, innovative and just plain beautiful teachers I know......her work can be found here if you have not yet had the pleasure...... August 2012 Hard to believe that there could be so much happening in just one month a wonderful trip to Melbourne...my first!   a day to see the sights  my first ever "alone sightseeing" experience!  and then on to teach Paint Mojo!  with a bunch of wonderful women  who filled my spirit with such gratitude and joy to be able to share what I know and learn along the way Thank you to Wini and Liza for being such wonderful hosts and for your lovely recounts of the weekend here and here .  Thanks also to the talented Kylie Fowler, one of my fellow Life Book teachers for her great post here!  coming home from Melbourne and having Santana come stay for a couple of weeks as her apartment was not yet ready to move into.......watching this moment and appreciating it so much in the knowledge that within the week Santana would be leaving home for Sydney and Sienna and I would be flying to America......an ordinary m...
