22 days of gratitude and giveaways- day two!

So grateful today to read all of your posts
each one reminds me of the multitude of blessings we all have
even in the darkest times
we can focus on the small things that
bring us joy

i'm also grateful for being lost
and found
one brings us to a place
which can feel scary
but can also offer fresh perspectives
elements of surprise
spiritual epiphanies
the other feels like coming home
safe, nurturing, whole.
but it would be hard to recognise one
without the other wouldn't it? ❤️

Tomorrow I'll tell you a little story
about getting lost and found earlier this week
on the enchanted Isle of Anglesey in Wales.
It involves a walk through this forest....

And a fifth century Celtic saint who once lived beyond this gate....

Until then I'm super excited to announce the very first winner of my 22 days of gratitude and giveaways!!

First thing that comes to mind about being lost and then found is 26 years ago when I was lost and then the Lord sought me. I realized that I have no control over my life, it is all in the Lord's hand - Jesus Christ, Father God, and the Holy Spirit. Once I gave my life to them, I was truly found!

So grateful to have had mother that taught me to draw starting at 2 years old and the continued support for me in my arts. She opened my eyes to beauty and colors that we have all around us every day and to be thankful for what we had. What a great mom!

I'm grateful for the love of my husband of almost 30 years, who champions my dream of working as an artist full time, who sacrifices so much for his family and who carries himself through every difficulty with such courage and grace. I am so fortunate to have him as my soul mate.

.I am so grateful for my family.....not just my immediate family but the huge family of artists that I have become part of over the last two years. I have been so unspired by their work and encouragement to other artists. I have learned so much and grown in my own art. I am grateful for my personal family who encourage and make it possible for me to spend some of my time creating..
I would be absolutely blown away to win a spot in your ecourse. Your work is so sensational and colourful and and really inspires me.

I am so grateful today and every day for my family. I would love to win a spot in your course! Thank you!
I am grateful that my father is okay with the heat wave we are experiencing just now. He is short of 92 years and not really healthy, but he says he is alright staying indoors behind shuttered windows.

Two weeks ago, I turned 63, I spent my birthday with my daughter. I am so grateful to be her Mom, she has been the joy of my life. She has given me purpose and taught me the true meaning of love. Moms always feel this way. I can honestly say, that I have loved every moment of my daughter's life and I would go back and start all over again in a split second. How blessed am I! What a gift I was give nearly 37 years ago, I am grateful in the depths of my soul!

I love your travel stories and have been following your trip on instagram, cause i've always wanted to go there! now....i just have to convince my husband, lol. Speaking of which, I am thanful that he never stoped believing in us. We were separated for a time, and just recently got bback together again. We are so different character wise, but I think we must compliment eachother. He's funny, down to earth, practical, a great daddy to our 4 year old son...I'm distracted, not very practical, impulsive, a bit crazy sometimes (LOL)and a space case, typical artist ha! So here I'm thankful we get a second chance on our life adventure and and that he never stopped believing and never walked away.
ps, shared on FB and instagram :)
