22 days of gratitude and giveaways- day two!

So grateful today to read all of your posts
each one reminds me of the multitude of blessings we all have
even in the darkest times
we can focus on the small things that
bring us joy

i'm also grateful for being lost
and found
one brings us to a place
which can feel scary
but can also offer fresh perspectives
elements of surprise
spiritual epiphanies
the other feels like coming home
safe, nurturing, whole.
but it would be hard to recognise one
without the other wouldn't it? ❤️

Tomorrow I'll tell you a little story
about getting lost and found earlier this week
on the enchanted Isle of Anglesey in Wales.
It involves a walk through this forest....

And a fifth century Celtic saint who once lived beyond this gate....

Until then I'm super excited to announce the very first winner of my 22 days of gratitude and giveaways!!

The winner for Day one is

CINDY BENKO!!!

Congratulations Cindy!
You are now registered for the next session of
Paint Mojo the ecourse!!

and for those who didn't win today
please keep checking in daily
until July 22nd
sharing the things you are grateful for
and each day I will draw another winner!!

hasta manana beautiful ones!
lots of love

Tracy xoxoxo

I have so much to be grateful for. Today, I'm thankful for my sense of wonder and how I see beauty in the crusty, dusty, and musty. It's helped me become a better writer, photographer, artist, and human being.
I am so grateful for having the freedom to enjoy making art..that it's not a quite private anguished feeling of creating ... But rather a celebration every time I dive into the paint!!
Happy to be a part of the mojo tribe! :)

So very grateful to have a next door neighbor I can ring her doorbell at 5 am, in my nightgown, because I locked myself out of the house! Dogs were going crazy with cats fighting under the bedroom window, I went outside to shoo them away and didn't realize the door was locked behind me! The key I had given her to my house was old, I'd changed the locks when my ex moved out, so I slept on her couch until 8am when I could call my realtor. He sent someone from his office over to get the key out of the lock box. I was going to take the house off the market yesterday but grateful I'm waiting another month! I am filled with gratitude today! 🙏🙏🙏
Today is Canada Day! Joyeuse Fete du Canada! I am grateful to have been born in a country so beautiful and free. This is my home and even though Canadians are so classically understated in our patriotism, it's a flame that burns bright deep within each of us.

Land of the silver birch, home of the beaver,
where still the mighty moose wanders at will.
Blue lake and rocky shore,
I will return once more.

Wow - so many things. I'll start with how my day started - universal timing! Beautiful weather, Canada Day, freedom, the sky and clouds, skylights, freshly ground coffee (by me) and then the ritual of making the coffee: the Italian coffee maker, the honey, the cream, mmmm.

The ability to read, to enjoy, to taste, to love, to feel, to explore, to create...

My love for collaging, writing, art, people, humanity.

The amazing planet we live on, the number of people committed to creating something wonderful, mountains, animals, oceans.

To have running water, showers, electricity.

So much I don't want to stop.

Thanks for creating this - grateful for the fact that you're having us be mindful of what we really have. Grateful for being moved. Thank you!

I feel so grateful! I'm barefoot on lovely green grass, the birds are singing to me, my children are safe and comfortably asleep... And I'm here, healthy, breathing, sitting next to my husband who stays with me without being forced! I'd love to win, I've got so much creativity bubbling and dream of painting but feel quite insecure. Could definitely use the help!
I shared the post about heartful musings earlier today on Facebook.

I live in Greece and it is difficult to be grateful for anything right now. We are at the verge of bankruptcy, the super markets have empty shelves, the banks are closed (heavens knows for so long), hospital do not have medicine etc etc. But I was reading your book right know, and your vibrant colors made me happy and ready to grab my acrylics and play in my journal. So yes I am grateful. For our colorful world, for the simple shapes, for art and for your amazing elephant (p13), which I will attempt now!

I am grateful for the little tiny bit of rain that we had yesterday. It was warm with great big, fat drops. I took my one-year-old grandson out in it and we stood there letting the drops fall on us. Then I held him up so that he could grab the chimes and send them crashing into one another. The joy on his face was wonderful and I'm still smiling about it today. It really is the simple pleasures that mean the most.

First of all, happy birthday Tracy, and thank you so much for this chance!

Today I am grateful for the sun. For shining on my face and keeping me super warm and very happy (and occasionally very sweaty lol).

For keeping my muscles pain free as I suffer from fybromialgy (which can get very painful when its cold and wet outside).

But most of all for getting me out of a very dark place and providing me with enough vitamine D to get up and work on my dreams. For giving me the feeling that I CAN do this!

I wish everyone a bright shimmery day and I hope you feel as happy as I do about our kind friend, the Sun... :)

Hi Tracy,
Most people say that I have a positive attitude and for the most part I do. I am grateful that my outlook on life brings a smile to others. I pray it makes their day a little brighter. But mostly I am grateful that on those days that I am a bit down, making or watching art being created brings that sparkle back into my voice, eyes, and heart.
Thank you for what you do and happy birthday in advance!

From ages 42 to now 45, my whole world has turned around and upside down, definitely shaken up. I'm currently in the most hectic and uncertain, yet structured and organized time period I think I've ever been in. My schedule and circumstances constantly leave me frustrated, discombobulated, stressed and sometimes angry and resentful. But.... I am grateful that I have learned to focus on life as a lesson so that I can shift myself 'gracefully' out of these negative places and into a place of learning and knowing that one day all this chaos will come together and blossom out something amazing and fruitful. Thank you for the challenge of posting gratitude. This was a very cathartic moment I've just had in writing all this down. <3

I can't wait to hear your story about your walk through the forest. This photograph reminds me of one that I took to the canvas yesterday…..losing myself in the process of "striving" to paint, rather than allowing intuition to speak. First, Thank you for your generous spirit!
I am grateful that after 3 months I am finally starting to heal physically from my fractured back (3 places). Though the heart is slower to heal after such a traumatic event - but now that I am able to spend more time sitting at my art desk I believe creating will help heal my heart as well.

I am grateful to have summer to spend more time with my growing, 7 year old, daughter due to time off from teaching 4th grade. I am soooo grateful my dad is responding to his chemotherapy and appears to be healthier than he was a month ago.

I'm grateful for the amazing technology that connects us and helps us create new experiences and gain new friendships that would have been unthinkable even 20 years ago! This technology gives us the ability to learn from you so many miles away and for you to share your gifts with so many people around the world!

My gratitude is for my family, who let me create when and where I need to, no matter how messy and chaotic it gets!

And Tracy, as a woman aged 52, I have to tell you the 50s have been very freeing so far!

I'm grateful for each moment, for the time and the willingness to paint and the joy that playing with color and texture gives me. I would love to win a spot in your course!
